PSI Optima

The Optima is a premium tailor-made ergonomic chair from Ergo Design, the specialist ergonomic seating arm of PSI Seating, designed and tested for eight-hour use and certified to BS 5459-2:2008.

What sets the Optima apart is the level of personalisation available. Users choose from three contoured backrest heights — Standard, High or Extra High — and three seat sizes: Standard Memory Foam, Large Memory Foam or Extra Large Sculptured Foam. A comprehensive range of optional extras can then be added, including inflatable sacral support, inflatable lumbar support, inflatable duo support, a coccyx relief cut-out, memory foam backrest, headrest, extra memory foam and a 190kg gas lift and chrome base option.

Armrest options span height adjustable, foldaway height adjustable, sliding pad and rotating pad configurations. The result is a chair that can be specified precisely to the individual user’s postural and physical requirements, making it particularly well suited to environments where seating comfort and long-term wellbeing are a priority.
